Siouxland Cottonwood is a wildly fast-growing, cottonless Poplar tree with a rounded head at maturity and narrow, pyramidal shape when young. Foliage is rust resistant. This tree is extremely hardy and will grow in even the toughest soils with the proper care and planting. This tree does require annual pruning to ensure the tree keeps a solid form. This Siouxland Poplar tree does produce catkins around early spring.
