A female Seaberry variety that has flowers that start out as being an inconspicuous greenish-brown color, and then turn into a yellow-orange fruit which taste very juicy and have a very high vitamin C concentration. Sea buckthorn is a dioecious species, meaning plants produce only male or female flowers. Fruit will be produced on female cultivars, but only when pollinated by a nearby male cultivar such as Hikul or Pollmix.
Adaptable to most soil conditions. Drought tolerant once established. Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Little pruning is necessary but can be trained as a small tree or large shrub. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
