Female Sea Buckthorn with a semi-upright growth habit. Green-brown blooms in spring are followed by large, juicy, flavourful, bright gold-orange berries with a very high vitamin C content. Tolerant of alkaline soil and drought tolerant once established. Sea buckthorn is a dioecious species, meaning plants produce only male or female flowers.  Fruit will be produced on female cultivars, but only when pollinated by a nearby male cultivar such as Hikul or Pollmix.
